50 Mile Run Finish 9-19-09 Rich finished the 50 mile run (with walk breaks) in 11 hours 43 minutes. (6:37 a.m. start time - 6:20 p.m. finish time)

6 miles from the finish not doing good but recovered to finish. Special Thanks Pastor Roger and Lois Cooper thank you all so much for your support. A special thank you to the run support team: Anita Carpenter & Bruce & Trenton Covey - bicycle support, crew, Barb Lucas & Deb Thompson - treasurers, Jane Porter - publicity letter, Todd & Gretchen Brewster, Jerry & Ruthann Brewster, Fawna Carpenter & Erica Taylor - celebration crew. An extra special thanks to the special ladies of my family, my wife Judy, daughter Holly and granddaughter Lily  who met me at the aid stations in Morley, Stanwood and Howard City.  Thanks to Pastor Cooper, Al Helms, Lily Nielson and Chris Cooper for running a portion of the trail with me.
